Welcome to Little Genius Club

 

Our mission is to provide our students (your children) with quality day care and early childhood education.  We strive to instill in children a desire to learn.  Students are expected to be kids and develop to the best of their abilities.

Director's Note

 

Thank you for your participation in the Fall Festival.  Our children had a lot of fun and enjoyed the party!

Announcements

 

"Baby Signs" Certified

We are very proud to announce that our center has become Baby Signs Certified.  All our students will receive 30-minute session of sign language.  Our babies will learn to communicate in a new way!

 

Scholastic Book Orders Due

Scholastic Book orders are due no later than Wednesday, September 23rd.

 

Dance/Ballet

If you would like your child to participate in the ballet/gymnastics class, please return the registration form to the office.

 

Illness Policy

In order to prevent illness, we must follow guidelines.  Please make sure that you bring a doctor's note if your child is ready to return to school.

This month our children have prepared a Thanksgiving celebration.

Please mark your calendars:

 

November 18th

Mad Science for Pre-K 3 & 4 at 10:00 a.m.

 

November 20th  

Little Genius Club students have prepared a Thanksgiving celebration.

Our children will be dressed as Native Americans and Pilgrims.

Our students will be singing Thanksgiving songs for their families.

 

We will have Lunch from 11:30-12:30 p.m.  Families are invited to see their children perform and to have lunch with them.

 

Our menu for this day will be

Turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce,

Bread & ice tea.

 

Lunch Plate: $6.00

Please R.S.V.P if you are planning to attend.

 

Our children will be learning about friendship!

Scholastic book orders are due. Remember, when we submit a student book order, our center gets free books!

Child Development Program

 

Young children learn through play.  We teach both the younger and the older children to interact with others by sharing, listening, and working in small and large groups.  Through art, they learn to express their feeling and ideas.  Through block play, they learn to plan and solve problems.  Dramatic play allows the children to express themselves as well as develop their language skills.  All center time and work time in the class is aimed at developing the child’s social and learning skills.

 

Each of the curriculum outline includes: math, phonics/letters, reading, science, social living, art, music, and reasoning skills along with coordination and vision perception development activities.  Our curriculum is specifically designed to be age appropriate and foster exploration, creativity, and academic success.

 

Little Genius Club uses multiple curriculum to meet the individual needs of the class.
